OTC Trading – Buy Tutorial【 WEB 】

For OTC trading on HKD.com, users must register an account and complete KYC identity verification. Upon successful identity verification, users are required to link a payment method. Transactions can be conducted using methods such as cash, bank transfers, or other instant transfer options. The minimum transaction amount will depend on the limits set by the individual merchant.

Step 1 : Log in to the homepage of HKD.com web version.

① Click on the upper left corner on "Buy Crypto."

② Choose either the【 Express 】or【 P2P 】to proceed with the coin purchase.

Express

Step 1 :

① Choose 【 Buy 】

② Click the dropdown menu to select the cryptocurrency you want to buy and enter the quantity you wish to purchase.

③ Click the dropdown menu to select either【 RMB 】or【 HKD 】for fiat currency transactions. The system will convert the amount based on the displayed price and your selected quantity to purchase.

④ Click【 Buy USDT 】

Step 2 :

① Users can choose the payment method provided by the merchant for making the payment.

② Click【 OK 】

Step 3 :

① Users can make the payment transfer according to the payment method provided by the merchant.

② After completing the payment, please upload your payment Proof in the chat window on the right and wait for the merchant to verify.

Step 4 :

① After uploading the payment proof, click on【 I have completed the transfer, next step 】and then click【 Confirm 】

② ** Important Note: Users must make the payment after placing the order. If the payment is not made within the specified payment time, the order will be automatically canceled.

*** Transfer Notes: Avoid using terms related to virtual currencies such as "Bitcoin," "BTC," "USDT," etc., during the transfer to prevent freezing of your bank card.

Step 5 : After completing the payment, please be patient and wait for the merchant to transfer the cryptocurrency to your wallet.

① Click the account through which you made the payment to the merchant.

② Click【 Confirm 】

Note : Please do not maliciously click "Paid." If the platform receives a merchant's appeal stating non-payment, but you confirm payment, the platform may freeze your account pending investigation.

Step 6 ：After completing the payment, please be patient and wait for the merchant to transfer the cryptocurrency to your wallet.

P2P

Step 1 :

① Select【 Buy 】

② Choose the cryptocurrency you wish to buy.

③ Click the dropdown menu to select either【 RMB 】or【 HKD 】for fiat currency transactions.

④ Users can choose their preferred payment method from the dropdown menu.

⑤ Users can refer to different exchange rates for transactions and choose the merchant for the desired trade.

Step 2 :

① After selecting the merchant you want to trade with, click on the【 Buy 】button.

② Enter the quantity you want to purchase.

③ Click【 Place an order 】

Step 3 :

① Users can make the payment transfer using any payment method provided by the merchant.

② After completing the payment, please upload your payment proof in the chat window on the right and wait for the merchant to verify.

Step 4 :

① After uploading the payment proof, click on【 I have completed the transfer, next step 】and then click【 Confirm 】

OTC transactions do not incur additional fees.

Due to potential congestion on the blockchain network, some transactions may take longer to confirm. This is a normal occurrence, so please be patient. The company will send the relevant digital assets to customers within 24 hours. Upon completion of the transaction, the screen will also display the words "Transaction Completed" along with transaction details. If you do not receive the relevant digital assets within 24 hours, please contact our customer service team. Thank you.

Notice : In order to ensure the security of both parties' assets, HKD.com implements a withdrawal strategy for RMB OTC and P2P. For Chinese Yuan (RMB), we adopt a “ T+2 " withdrawal limit, providing a 48-hour buffer period. For Hong Kong Dollar (HKD), we adopt a “ T+1 " withdrawal limit, providing a 24-hour buffer period. This not only helps prevent illegal fund inflow and reduces the risk of user asset loss but also maximally restricts money laundering activities on the platform, minimizes the risk of bank account freezing, and ensures users enjoy a secure trading environment. Users' trading activities (spot, futures, leverage trading, etc.) will not be affected during this period.
